I hired Sarah to do a deep/Spring cleaning. I specifically asked for the blinds to be done, the walls to be washed, refrigerator to be cleaned, etc. I specified that I needed a DEEP clean because we had done some construction work at the house. Pros: Sarah was very nice and personable when I met with her. She did a good job with the areas of the house she cleaned. She was respectful and asked if her partner could come help to make the clean go quicker. I agreed. Cons: After 4 hours, the house was not deep cleaned. Sarah missed a couple of areas in the bedroom and I asked her to go back over them as I went to find my checkbook. After I had paid her, I noticed that the areas in the bedroom had NOT been dusted. I also noticed that the blinds were not done as I'd asked, there was a section of the kitchen counter that had been completely overlooked, cobwebs in the corners, a small shelf hadn't been dusted and the microwave and fridge hadn't been touched (inside or out). I immediately called Sarah to ask her to come back and finish and received no answer, so I texted her. I did not hear back and finally sent her a message via Thumbtack. She apologized and said she would be back the following day to finish. I responded and let her know that the following day would work with my schedule and have yet to hear back. I do not like leaving negative reviews and Sarah did do some good work while she was at my house. Unfortunately because of her lack of professionalism and follow-through, I cannot recommend Sarah's services.

I charge by the job, not by the hour. My rates are very competitive! In addition, if for some reason I feel like I have over-bid for a job, I will give the homeowner a choice of adding extra work, or a partial refund!
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have been in the professional cleaning business for 4 years. I enjoy meeting new people and I take pride in a job well done.
How did you get started doing this type of work?
Cleaning has always been a passion and a hobby. Growing up, I loved doing chores with my grandmother including gardening and other yard work, cooking, cleaning, laundry, and dishes. She instilled in me the importance of organization and cleanliness.
