FAQs
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Typically, we like to email or talk with a customer on the phone to find out if we can help with the project. If it seems like a good fit, then we meet in person if there are more details to go over and so that we can give the customer a quote.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have a BA in Fine Arts from UNC-Chapel Hill as well as a BA and Master of Architecture degree from RISD (Rhode Island School of Design). I also studied in Paris at Parsons School of Design. I interned in a German Architecture firm and a French museum - both amazing opportunities to see how art and design are approached in other parts of the world. Also, I have taught drawing, painting and ceramics to many students- ages 4-84! My husband and partner has worked in construction since he was a young man. He has done everything from building a "tiny house" in Carrboro to multi-million dollar homes in San Francisco. He also has a gift for designing and building custom furniture and doors!
- What types of customers have you worked with?
We have worked with many, many different types of customers! Everyone from young people/ first time home owners to businesses with multiple locations. We are very open minded and communicative and enjoy working with all kinds of people on a wide variety of projects!
