Lisa designed the layout of my small business, as well as doing our graphics. She did a great job with both. Excellent eye for color, both in design of the store as well as in the logo. Her design captured just what I was looking for, a balance of comfort and elegance, utility and aesthetic. She helped develop a great flow through the space that keeps customers moving around and finding new items, and a great sense of welcome and home in a retail environment. The logo(s) she has done are clean, direct and eye-catching. When doing a trade name change several years into my business, she helped create a great new logo that looked brand new while incorporating some of the old logo elements, giving a wonderful connection between the two. Highly recommended!

I always received a compliment when I wear one of her pieces. They stand out with a unique design and are well made, so it's a winning combination.

Remarkable innate artistic awareness. Beautiful products, that Deb loves. BUT, more importantly, Lisa informed Jonny and I that orange was the perfect color for my tiny house/office door, not yellow. How Lisa knew that I've no idea, but orange turned out beautifully. Jonny did the painting, not me, I hasten to add. I recommend Lisa's work without reservation. Kev, Old Dogs in Training, LLC

FAQs

  • What is your typical process for working with a new customer?

Typically, we like to email or talk with a customer on the phone to find out if we can help with the project. If it seems like a good fit, then we meet in person if there are more details to go over and so that we can give the customer a quote.

  • What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?

I have a BA in Fine Arts from UNC-Chapel Hill as well as a BA and Master of Architecture degree from RISD (Rhode Island School of Design). I also studied in Paris at Parsons School of Design. I interned in a German Architecture firm and a French museum - both amazing opportunities to see how art and design are approached in other parts of the world. Also, I have taught drawing, painting and ceramics to many students- ages 4-84! My husband and partner has worked in construction since he was a young man. He has done everything from building a "tiny house" in Carrboro to multi-million dollar homes in San Francisco. He also has a gift for designing and building custom furniture and doors!

  • What types of customers have you worked with?

We have worked with many, many different types of customers! Everyone from young people/ first time home owners to businesses with multiple locations. We are very open minded and communicative and enjoy working with all kinds of people on a wide variety of projects!
