- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
My standard hourly rate is $30-40/hr for marketing strategy services, depending on the nature of the client's needs, and $25/hr for digital marketing and social media account management. I typically provide an estimated total project cost based on the number of hours I anticipate to spend on each stage of the project.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
When working with a new client, I always start by sitting down with them--either in person or over the phone--and talking about their business and their needs so I get a clear idea of where they are, the challenges they face, and what their goals are, both long and short term. I then submit a scope of work proposal outlining the steps of the project with anticipated timelines and costs. The first stage, regardless of the nature of the project, always entails establishing or articulating the organization's mission and brand, and then doing thorough market and industry research. From there, campaign strategy is developed, but the specifics of this part of the process varies from project to project, depending on the client's needs.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have a B.A. in political science from Sewanee: The University of the South and completed graduate work at The University of South Carolina in public administration.
