Introduction: In a range of subjects for twenty years I have helped students of many backgrounds, ages, abilities, and ambitions achieve their goals in Latin, history, writing, and standardized test preparation. The students I tutor get more than better grades and test scores: they get the insights and strategies that make learning enriching and empowering, that turn frustration into thirst. People who want to learn and to get their ideas across effectively inspire me to be always looking for new strategies for removing roadblocks and changing confusion into excitement. When working with students, my goal is to make myself extraneous by providing not just short term solutions but also the long term skills needed to succeed independently. I am passionate about ensuring that all my clients and students find ways for their abilities and insights to be valued as they deserve, that standardized tests not distort real abilities and potential, and that every clients' message gets across cleanly and clearly. Language and the transmission of ideas has been my work and my passion for the past twenty years. My joy is finding ways to work with someone to use my skills to ensure their success.

Everything went well. I'm so pleased I cannot even find the proper words to describe my experience. His knowledge and explanation he provided removed my stress in getting this project completed.

Hands down and without any doubt Chris Cudabac is the man for what it is he do. He's very professional and prompt with his work. Kept me updated with progression and helped make the novel of which was written a complete master piece... I'll for sure use his works in my future projects... Thanks my brother!!!

FAQs

  • What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?

$40/hour Other rates available for long term assignments and group tutoring.

  • What is your typical process for working with a new customer?

An initial meeting is important to assess a customer's goals and needs, and for the customer to get a sense for whether we will work well together. It is critical for me, either in tutoring or in editing, to establish a level of trust, both on an intellectual level and on a personal one. Customers are trusting me both to give them the knowledge they need and to expose weaknesses that may make them feel uncomfortable. They have to know from the start that my job and my passion is to help, and only to help.

  • What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?

BA in Latin and Greek, University of the South (1996) Phi Beta Kappa, Magna cum Laude MA in Classics, University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill
