FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
The cost of counseling is $140 for the initial appointment and $120 for following appointments. I DO NOT ACCEPT INSURANCE FOR MARRIAGE COUNSELING. Here are some simple reasons for this decision.... 1)The number of sessions and direction of counseling is decided both client and therapist instead of a third party insurance carrier. 2) Additionally, insurance carriers require a mental health diagnosis that become part of the clients permanent medical record. This may impact potential employers hiring decisions if mental health records are requested in the future. 3. Many successful counseling organizations in Charlotte are moving towards a fee for service model to improve client satisfaction. They are able to do this and still see demand because they offer a service that is helpful and effective. 4. Your marriage and relationship is worth investing in.
