FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
I own a resume writing service and my pricing for the service is a little higher than what I charge on Thumbtack. I want to offer my clients an inexpensive way to obtain employment they can make into a career. My standard rate is $20 for resume creation and an additional $10 for cover letter creation.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I believe in keeping my clients informed of the total process. With new clients I like to discuss with them what they are trying to accomplish and which positions they are wanting to target. This gives me a good starting point for how their resume will be created. I want my client to be involved in the process so they receive the final resume product on time and with little to no revisions so they can start posting and secure their dream career.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have a Bachelors Degree in Business Management with Human Resource emphasis. I am currently working on my Masters Degree in Human Resource and will have complete this degree in October 2016. I have been in HR for the last 12 years in one form or another, I have been an enrollment counselor of a number of Universities, I have worked as a Corporate Recruiter for a two major companies and I am currently a Director of Recruiting. I look at resumes all day, everyday and have for over 12 years now. I am usually the person that decides who moves on to the next step in the interview process, so it makes sense that I help those that need help, receive it in relation to resumes.
