Elegantly Detailed Cleaning

Hi Patricia Thank you for the 5-star review. I do state to my customers that I require a deposit to hold an appointment because there had previously been too many last minute cancellations with no regard to my scheduling. I stated to you that for move out cleanings clients do pay upfront on the day of cleaning especially being that most of the time I do not meet them. After asking you repeatedly and professionally to please remit payment several times after you kept stating that you would pay me after the job was completed I did get frustrated with you. You then made a comment stating, "I hope you don't think I'm trying not to pay you." I let you know that I've never had an issue with a customer paying me when I requested it so I've never had to have those concerns. You sent a forwarding address on your own after requesting recurring services I never stated anything about a forwarding address. I then told you that I do not offer recurring services I only offer one-time cleaning services such as move-out cleanings, move- in cleanings and post reno cleanings. I only offer those because there has been so many inconsistent customers who requested recurring services but have a hard time keeping their appointment's. Move-out cleanings is not a new job for me I've been doing then for well over 5 years. There was never any complaining we only had one conversation after I was forced to call you because you refused to pay me when I repeatedly asked you via text message, the Thumbtack application as well as my appointment application. There is time allotted for cleaning and to accommodate you I stopped several times to send you videos of the cleaning that I did which I send those at the end of the cleaning. I do not have time during a cleaning to keep stopping to send pictures and videos. It can take anywhere from 4 or more hours and being a single mother I do have children that I have to get to in time so I schedule the cleaning with enough time to finish and do a good job. You requested my services at the last minute which was the day before, you made the decision to move forward later in the day. Most communication is via text or email and I always give my contact number if the customer has any questions or concerns. There was no time to set up a verbal meeting with you. I actually went over the cleaning time by an hour because I had to keep stopping but it was ok with me. I'm sorry that you felt that my repeatedly asking you for payment was a form of complaining. I actually bullied by you and I had never met you. The requirement for payment upfront when I arrive for a move out cleaning to an empty home will remain this is not a complaint this is my policy. I have been cleaning for several years and was taught by my mother from the age of 7 my background is in Banking, Customer Service, Dental, etc. I communicate very well with no problems, the concern is when I have customers who will not adhere to my policy when I strive to do the best job and give them the results that are requested.
