Introduction: Jennifer Byrne is a fine art photographer working in central Virginia. Jennifer received her BA in Fine Arts from the University of Mary Washington, and studied photography abroad at the Burren College of Art in Ireland, and independently while in school in Sicily, Italy. During her course work she was awarded the Department Honors Award in photography for two consecutive years.
Jennifer resides in Southern Albemarle County with her husband and their three children. She managed the studio for Richard Lord, a photojournalist working internationally with both corporate and non-profit clients, from 2006 though 2012.
Jennifer is a pro with families and her commercial clients attest to her consistently professional, on-time and high quality images.

Jen took the photos for my website (virginianeurofeedback.com) and she not only created beautiful photos that elevated the professionalism of my business presence, she was fun and easy to work with and had great ideas!
I also bought four of Jen's Virginia nature photos for my psychotherapy office. I explained to her what I wanted the images to convey (calm, balance, relaxation) and she put together a folder of possible options for me to choose from. She also helped me pick the appropriate mat/frame choices and took care of that component as well, then delivered the artwork to my office and hung them for me!
I recommend Jen hands down for photo shoots, either personal or professional, and if you haven't explored her fine art photography you should!

Jennifer was very patient, humble, down to earth and very flexible. She's extremly professional and has a beautiful vision. She has beautiful locations to take pictures at. She is willing to change locations due to weather. She makes you feel very comfortable and she's open to ideas. She's the best in the business.

Jennifer photographed "Jimmy Miller's Bracket Breakfast for Piedmont CASA", and her work was outstanding. Lighting for this event was a real challenge, yet her photographs made it look easy. She managed to capture the dynamic energy of the crowd, as well as great shots of small groups and individuals. She was a pleasure to work with, highly professional and gracious. We look forward for another opportunity to work with Jennifer.

Our wedding pictures are incredible! Absolutely breathtaking and so personal. We loved Jennifer's approach to capturing all the special elements of our day. Our pictures were candid, and unique to who we are as a couple, rather than the prescribed layouts or current trends that you see everywhere. Jennifer had great intuition and insight to be sure everything was captured. We couldn't be happier with the results!
