- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
We have a basic rate for pick up and drop offs. There is an hourly rate for our bus/limo, if needed to be chartered or shuttled for business or weddings. Sometimes it is an all day event and that rate is negotiable, based on needs and wants for a bus or a limo.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Typically the customer contacts us off of our email address and lets us know what they have seen on our website. We ask how many people would be coming, where and when are they looking to travel and then for how long they would need us to transport them. We ask if they have baggage or other items to transport. After all of the details are talked over, we get a deposit and a contract is emailed out to them that same day.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
In the beginning, our other company, Diverse Fleet Services, Inc. is a bus repair company. We maintained other company buses and learned from them about the travel business. We have many business clients that still come in for repair service and are also a competitor of Black Tie Charters & Tours. We started out 5 years ago and have maintained relationships with customers who have called us year after year to take them to their destination.
