FAQs
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
During the first lesson I assess the student's level and discuss what he/she needs. Afterwards, based on his/her needs and requests, I create a customized lesson plan tailored to them.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have been teaching English as a Second Language since 2004. I feel in love with teaching after the first class and have been in love with what I do since. Seeing people master this beautiful language, seeing them develop their skills, seeing the happiness on their faces when they tell me they could finally read a book in English or watch a movie and understand it makes me happy beyond belief. In 2013 I worked as a Teacher Trainer and tried to pass my love for the language and language teaching to prospective teachers. These students of mine have become successful ESL teacher working in South Korea and Spain. I have a dual Master's Degree in English Language & Linguistics, and American Studies.
- How did you get started doing this type of work?
I have been in love with the English language and teaching for decades. My great aunt was an English teacher and she instilled her passion for this profession in me at an early age. She set me on this wonderful journey of becoming an English teacher when I was a child, and here I am now with 12 years of experience, having taught hundreds of students on two continents.
