Two and a half years ago, my wife and I were anxiously preparing for our wedding. We were so excited to get married, but as any married couple knows there are hundreds of decisions to make and an endless list of things to do. It's easy to forget to prepare yourself for what will be the biggest life change you'll ever experience.
During that time my wife and I started meeting with Jordan. After our very first meeting with him we knew that we had come to someone who was interested in much more than a program or producing the right answers; he wanted us to learn more about ourselves. Jordan helped us to understand more of the motivations behind our desires, and where our ideals for our roles in marriage came from. This lead to some really insightful conversations between my wife and I, and it empowered us to understand our feelings in a new light.
One of the most powerful tools that Jordan gave us during that time was knowledge of how to deal with conflict in our marriage. His wife also provided counsel and wisdom on this topic. Today we still benefit from the disciplines and skills that he taught us to practice.
Today, I continue to recommend Heart2Heart Cousleing to my friends it's a very rewarding experience.

Hands down, I would recommend Jordan and Heart2Heart Counseling. Jordan is a fantastic listener, and he takes the time to let you know that you are heard and your experiences and life are important. Jordan developed a track that really allowed me to know my (then) fiancé on a deeper level. He helped us understand the laundry list of expectations that we each had about relationship and marriage, and he helped us to grow in the roles that God has designed for us in our marriage. Throughout our premarital counseling he brought up topics for us to discuss that were really foundational for our marriage. If we hadn't invested the time in meeting with him then there would have been a few surprises after the wedding. Some topics that need to be discussed before marriage often aren’t; Jordan made sure that the stage was set for those conversations, and I got to know my fiancé all the better because of Jordan’s investment.
Also, I really appreciated when both Jordan and his wife would sit down and share with us some of the difficult lessons that they had to learn in their marriage. We benefited so much from their honesty and openness. It was invaluable to hear them talk about marriage from their personal experience.
My husband and I would recommend Jordan and Heart2Heart counseling in a heartbeat!

It was a great experience and journey to go through the premarital counseling with Jordan and Olivia. My wife and I learned a lot about each other and took away practical ways to strengthen our relationship. The resources and materials that were covered and used as part of the counseling were all very useful. However, I would say that the most valuable takeaways came from Jordan and Olivia. They are very vulnerable about their own experiences, which makes you feel extremely comfortable opening up. They make you feel at ease and their counseling comes from a place of genuineness, as opposed to a scripted approach. We were blessed to have found Jordan and Olivia and the ongoing friendship and relationship that's been maintained ever since.
