FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Private Training: $80/session Semi-Private Training: $50/session *Note: If you want the semi-private rate but do not have an additional person you want to train with, I will try to fit you into a time where I already have a client. If none of those times work for you, we will set up a separate time with the acknowledgement that when I find someone, I will bring them into the session. Online Training: $150 per 4 weeks
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
First, I do an initial consultation with the client to assess their goals, injuries, and past experiences. We go through an extensive movement screen to determine movement patterns and tight or inactive muscles. From there, we decide which approach to training is best: online, private, or semi-private training. I then create an individualized four week program for the client based on their goals as well as any imbalances that were discovered in the movement screen.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have a BA in Dance from the University of Iowa. After graduating a year early, I danced professionally for three years before pursuing a career in personal training. I am a Certified Personal Trainer through the National Academy of Sports Medicine. In addition, I am pursuing the Strong First Girya Certification which will culminate at the end of April, 2016. Lastly, I constantly surround myself with some of the best trainers in the industry in order to continually grow, learn, and stay up to date with the best training techniques.
