FAQs
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
My first career was in radio - it's all about talking AND listening. They're both essential skills for speakers. It's also about making a real connection with the audience. That's what I do as a speaker and what I coach my clients to do. My degree is in Communication Arts and Sciences. I had additional training as a Presentation Skills Consultant. And I'm a Master Practitioner of NLP (Neuro-Linguistic Programming).
- How did you get started doing this type of work?
Speaking and guiding business people to develop their speaking skills was a natural second-act when the clock ran out on radio. I use all the same skills that an ensemble morning show required, but now I use them with listeners right there in the room with me.
- What types of customers have you worked with?
My clients include coaches, therapists, a couple of dentists, an accountant, several attorneys and a few financial advisors, along with some corporate executives. Anyone who uses face-to-face communication to grow their business really NEEDS to be effective in front of an audience. It pays big dividends in the growth of their business.
