FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
My day rates consider the amount of planning and organizing that has to go into the shoot. I typically have a day rate of $800. Consultation: $500/day Video: $800/day and $125/hour over 8-hours Photo: $600/day and $100/hour over 8-hours Editing: $50/hour If a shoot involves more or less equipment and planning, I am willing to negotiate that rate.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
If new clients would like to meet up for a consultation, I will go over some information for them to think about in an e-mail and travel to them when they are ready to begin planning. If a phone call is more preferable and all the information can be covered, I can be reached as long as I am not working on site at another gig.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I went to Virginia Tech for Civil Engineering, so I have an extremely organized and efficient workflow. I've taken several classes on TV production, editing, and multiple improv programs in Chicago.
