My name is Bill Truesdale and I am really glad you are here, because I help people to develop more clarity and freedom with goal setting in all areas of their lives. I listen to my clients' objectives, dreams, and goals. I combine the talents of life coaching and dynamic teaching skills to help my clients find more happiness and produce positive outcomes. I develop strategies to help my clients achieve most what they want in life. I also help my clients navigate through difficult transitions and come out the other side more effective and successful. Bill is trained in the Strategic Intervention Coaching by Robbins-Madanes. Bill’s passion is to help develop the knowledge skills and technical skills of his clients. Bill is a best selling author of Success Mastery co-authored with Jack Canfield. Bill began his twenty-seven year journey in the world of education serving as a substitute teacher, teacher, assistant principal, and principal in the Chicago Public Schools. He also teaches as an adjunct professor of educational administration at Chicago State University. Bill serves on the governing board of the principal preparation program at Chicago State University. Bill’s focus on serving as a mentor is his philosophy a quote from Michael Angelo “ I saw an Angel in the stone and I set it free.” His goal is to bring out the natural strengths of his clients and develop their leadership style as an influencer, doer, relator, and thinker. Bill also focuses on having his clients use the seven learning styles to communicate and lead in an organization to success Bill has earned a doctorate in education from Loyola University in Chicago, two masters degrees first one in exercise physiology from University of Illinois at Chicago and second master of education in special education from Chicago State University. He has also earned an undergraduate degree in teaching from University of Illinois at Chicago. Bill is a life long learner. He has earned six Illinois teaching certificates: superintendents endorsement, principal, middle school teacher, elementary school teacher, special education supervisor and learning disabilities teacher, and physical education teacher. Bill completed a two year portfolio pilot study on principals. He was recognized by the National Board of Professional Teaching Standards. His school Douglas Taylor has been recognized nationally by the N.A.S.S.P. as Met-Life Break Through School in 2008 and Re-Designated Break Through School in 2013. An article on the school appeared in the 2008 Edition of Principal Leadership Magazine. Bill is the author of the book “The Implementation of Peer Coaching on the Transferability of Staff Development to Classroom Practice.” The first study of peer coaching in the Chicago Public Schools. Bill is a co-author of the new book Breaking Ranks: Focus on Leaders collaborating with the N.A.S.S.P. National Association Secondary School and Middle School Principals Association. The book will be published in 2017 and be distributed at the National Principal Convention. Bill, is a speaker and has presented on the Breaking Ranks Model at both the state and national level. He is completing national certification as a principal mentor with the N.A.E.S.P. National Association of Elementary School Principals. Bill is an aspiring superintendent. He has completed the National Superintendents Academy. He is also a former national competitive powerlifter. Bill is an advocate for health, fitness, and a natural master bodybuilder.
