FAQs
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Communication is by far the first element and perhaps the most important factor in determining the outcome and Success i.e. A Happy Satisfied Client of the all around experience for both Artist and Client/s. I am big advocate of communicating and creating that connection with a Client BEFOREHAND. And most often I do this by initially having what I like to simply call a little "Collaborating Session" with the Client. This is where I ask the client what their overall vision they want to achieve and if they're not sure, then we can create one together! Addressing my Clients top concerns and/or needs is the priority and premise of these Collaborating Sessions, being in this business a long time, I've observed time and time again (as well as have had Clients tell me) Makeup Artists not taking any time to try and connect with their Client, they ask no questions nor are they approachable for any to be asked of them, they blindly go into each Appointment as if the Client should just know and trust you, with a very unapproachable air about them. And time and Time again I feel for the Client who is spending their Money to put their face in your hands on what is a Very important event for them regardless if it's a wedding, prom, birthday party etc and Ive learned by seeing the mistakes other artists make when they forget that, it may be our 10th wedding of the season, but it is still only ONE special day for the Client.
