I had a great experience with Moving Relocation Specialists. Rod was very responsive prior to the job. They also were quite flexible and understanding as I had to change the moving time last minute. They arrived on time, and were prepared with tools to dissemble my furniture (mine were already packed). They remained positive/fun and helpful as the move encountered a few obstacles. I did not feel that I got the deal of the century but I didn’t feel gypped either. The pricing was fair and they worked very hard. Hiring these guys made things much, much easier on me. Wow!!! Amazing is all I can say...I was in a bad situation and needed out NOW. Rod and Big Rob saved the day for me. They were able to get all my stuff out of the house and moved in three hours. They were straight up, no hidden fees or wierd charges. They came in moved two armoires, two dresses, a king size floppy mattress (huge, heavy and awkward), a full size mattress, two box springs, a couple rugs a bike, a porch swing, a BEAST of a sleeper couch, a heavy table...just all kinds of stuff that needed to be moved and moved immediately. The mattresses, box springs, dresser (with full drawers) and one of the armoires were upstairs. The stairs have two turns in them and were NOT easy to navigate. I communicated with Rod on Tuesday afternoon/evening and by 11:30 Thursday my stuff was on the truck ready to be moved. He told me they’d take care of me and did they ever. They used their own vehicle to get the rest of the heavy stuff out of the house when my uhaul got full. When the other party showed up I knew they were there and I wasn’t going to have problems. I felt totally safe with them there. They made an exceptionally difficult situation much easier and stress free for me. I’ve already recommended them to a few of my friends and will WITHOUT question call Rod to move me next time. They were fantastic...professional and funny and like I said made a bad situation SOOOO much easier for me. I wish I had more pics to show just how much they did in an insanely short period of time. Everything was in the truck within an hour and unloaded into an indoor storage in less than an hour. They then went to a second location to unload, the two dressers and the couch. Cannot express how grateful I am for their services and how hard they worked to get everything out in one trip. Exceptional! Rod and Big Rob bailed us out at the last-minute on a time sensitive, in-house move when the other arrangements we made didn't work out. They got here within the time window and Rod kept me posted ahead of their arrival. They moved a bedroom set from downstairs to upstairs, including a couch and sofa chair, through a couple of narrow doorways and a 90 degree staircase turn like it was nothing. They even dealt with a bed frame that was impossible to fully disassemble. - What is your typical process for working with a new customer?Typical process is client contacts me. Gives me a date, time, where they are, and where they are going. I ask ; are they completely packed, any stairs, washer/dryer? Price is calculated in that way. If the client wants the service we move forward in making it happen for them. We know relocating is stressful and we are here to alleviate that pain.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?I have relocated clients or myself for the better part of my life. I have worked for myself, companies , and have went through Uhaul University to make me a better mover. I also have a Bachelors Degree from SDSU in an unrelated field, which proves that I am a good learner.
