FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Generally my photography sessions are $200 per hour of shooting, and my film sessions are based upon your needs. Each session includes a free consultation and a personalized flash drive including all images from your shoot. I am very approachable when it comes to your budget, so please feel free to communicate your needs.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
With any new client, I try to know and understand them as a person before we delve into the nitty gritty of the shoot itself. If my clients are a family or a couple, this initial meeting is even more important. Since my duty as a photographer is to visually represent you or your message, I strive to understand you objectively and personally. This helps me in my creative process to construct our session. My favorite way of doing this is over coffee, but I am very flexible. The comfort of my clients before, during, and after our shoot is very important to me. In this initial meeting, we will discuss things like what you want to accomplish with your photos, the genre/style/aesthetic you are aiming for, special requests, location, budget, and any other creative detail you could think of. While the above is very important to our session, anyone is more than welcome to change or revise their details and specific requests.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have worked with the Sacramento Horror Film Festival for four consecutive years, as well as the innaugural Sinister Creature Con in 2015. Through these experiences, I have met, learned from, and exchanged ideas with countless proffessionals in the industry of film and photography.
