FAQs
- How did you get started doing this type of work?
I got started doing this type of work at 23 years old when I decided to go back to college full time and study business and finance. I was accustomed to service work bc i serviced commercial and residential swimming pools for 2 years, managed an office supply n office furniture warehouse for our retail sales location and delivery service for a year, and serviced Minolta copier machines for a year. I couldnt go to school full-time working those trades, so I started looking in the newspaper and an ad for carpet n upholstery cleaning position with a Chem Dry store that specialized in dry cleaning, steam cleaning, and pressure washing were recruiting part-time and full-time service techs. I convinced him to hire me and I was trained over 2 weeks on the job. I liked the job for several reasons, the money was sufficient to allow me to make a living and go to school so mission and plan were accomplished. Ive always taken pride in whatever I do and I always have given more than a 100% of my will and skill to creat the best end result possible. So it's always a good rewarding feeling to see the before and after of the service I provided. Carpet cleaning and pressure washing definitely is a great service to work in, and for the customer it's a service that increases the value and prosperity in your home, business, and other property each time you have me come clean or restore a project for you. So that is rewarding to me knowing I helped brighten up your environments while adding value to it and creating prosperity for a home or business.
