Introduction: Acorn Studio is a photography studio located just outside of Jackson, Mississippi. From newborns and children, to high school seniors and weddings we love families and capturing all the wonderful stages in the life of a family as it changes and grows. It can take a lot of effort to coordinate portraits whether it's for one member of your family or everyone! We will walk you through the process every step of the way to make it easy and enjoyable. It doesn't just stop with capturing beautiful images. We also help you figure out a solution for how you can best enjoy your images in your home.

In looking for someone to take newborn photographs, I sorted through many local photographers. Five years later, we're still loving Acorn Studio. Friendly, patient, and wonderful images equal a very happy customer. Everyone comments on how beautiful our living room photos/canvases are and they adore the Christmas cards. No photographer my mother-in-law has found for group photos has come close to matching the skill, talent, and love of the art found in our Acorn Studio images.

Erin was amazing at getting fabulous shots of my son from when he was 3 months to now 3 years. She is kind, gentle, efficient, and really flexible! She has a wonderful eye and is very creative. I would and have recommended her to everyone I know.

What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
There are 3 steps to the Acorn Portrait Process: 1. We begin with a Consultation to plan your session, answer questions and make a plan for how you will use your images. 2. Your Portrait Session is where the magic happens and we create beautiful images of your family! 3. At your Order Appointment you view your images and make final decisions on how you will enjoy them.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Erin holds a B.A. in Art from Belhaven University. She has also continued with regular training and professional development annually since founding Acorn Studio in 2008.
