- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I like to see the jobsite and meet with my customer and talk about the project. I have found it important to be on the same page so both of us understand what is expected from me and what I plan to deliver. I then research the cost of materials, estimate time and look at any additional factors and present a bid. I make sure we are both happy with that price and set goals for timelines where we can agree on payment.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I am currently in the last year of an associates degree in occupational safety and health with a certificate in construction management.
- How did you get started doing this type of work?
I started framing houses 12 years ago with my stepdad. It was much more interesting to me than washing dishes.
