Dany responded very quickly to my job request and even acknowledged my description and pictures that I posted. He sent me a message and we set up an appointment to meet so that he could provide an estimate. He showed up ahead of time and provided a good estimate to move my fence from one location to another. He showed up the next day even though there was a rain delay and kept me updated on his status. He explained the obstacles due to the rain and completed the work as agreed! I would definitely use this company again.

Update: I will acknowledge that due to previous issues with contractors disappearing after being paid I was already insecure about paying in full before a job was finished. But I do want to acknowledge that although Dany did not return on the next day as he planned (it was also Mother’s Day weekend), he did remain in contact and did come to move a tree and put the remaining brick down in the front. This was after the negative comments below- so that was very professional of them. The morning I left that review he did reach out and did the brick. And today (2 weeks later) they did move the tree. All in all, I would recommend for landscaping work and would just stress communication to avoid needless frustration and issues. Initial review: Let me start by saying I did a rookie move and paid them (Dany) before all of the work was done. If you choose them DO NOT pay in full while ANYTHING is pending. Also pay with your credit card so you can dispute and get your money back if it is unsatisfactory. Initially I requested and received a quote for landscaping and building a raised flower bed. The quote was reasonable, however, I wanted to get more info. I asked if I could receive an itemized invoice of how much each piece of the project cost. The final invoice was more general than I liked, and Dany checked in a lot to see if I had made a decision. FFWD, I asked if they could move a shrub in one area, and as you can see there are only two trees still here. There are a few missing bricks here. He agreed to move this black tree and it wasn’t moved. I was hesitant to pay the remaining $2100 because I have had some contractors behave differently after being paid. It is a week later and I have not received a call, scheduling, or a response after reaching out today. I did think Dany was patient with some issues we had (e.g. I wanted a specific color/shape of brick and he had to return it twice after getting the wrong shape and then wrong color. Then he wanted to charge more for having to return these items despite me specifically saying what my preferences were and also not signing off on what he purchased). I also did like the privacy trees and raised bed that was installed, although one of my rose bushes didn’t survive being transplanted. I think if you hold the money until the end result you will be fine, otherwise choose elsewhere.

The company provided a quick response and a good estimate. I'm so glad I went with the company. The work was done the next day. Super professional. This was taking out old bushes, redefining beds, cleaning up, and adding mulch. Beautiful work.

Let me start by saying the individuals I worked with are polite and professional. When I had my on site estimate I explained everything I wanted done and was quoted a price. When the estimate was sent to me later, it did not include everything I had asked for. After a short back and forth, they agreed to do my full request for the same price. Overall, the work was completed. However, I’ve waited to to write this review until I saw how it held up because it seemed to have been done “cheaply”. The mulch was laid so thin dirt below was visible, and it has begun to wash out because no edging was placed down. On the walkway, no landscaping fabric was placed under the stones, so weeds are already growing through. In both cases, I, personally, had provided the edging and landscaping fabric. Additionally, the stones in the walk way were laid overflowing and are falling into the pavers, making it unsafe. Finally, despite watering it twice a day, 45 minutes each time as told to do, most of my sod has already died. I understand the quote was low to get my business. But, I would’ve rather they insisted it couldn’t be done at that price over doing work that I’m going to have to fix. I’ll be putting edging around the mulch and filling it with more mulch to a few inches deep. I’ll have to shovel the excess stone from the walkway and place it elsewhere, as well as pull all the weeds from it. And, I’m not sure what I’m going to do about the sod yet. I still gave 3 stars because technically the job was done, and in a timely manner. The individuals were polite and professional.
