Introduction: Hi! Throughout the 15 years of my professional career, I have worked in higher education, non-profits, and the hospitality industry. I have most enjoyed teaching and tutoring students. I have experience tutoring students both at the undergraduate and graduate levels, teaching English to adults that are new to the US, and teaching as an Adjunct Instructor at Drexel University. My Masters in Education with a concentration of Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages along with my teaching and tutoring experience provides my base of knowledge for working with ESL students. I enjoy tutoring because it allows me to get to know my clients, determine language concerns, and to then focus in on those issues and to make positive progress with them. My students have said that I am engaging, caring, straightforward, and thoughtful. I would love the opportunity to talk with you to learn about your English language needs and goals!

She is really professional in teaching ESL. She always anticipates students’ needs. She will measure all your four skills (speaking, listening, reading, and writing) and offer you a glass based on your capacity. She is very calm and patient when it comes to teaching. She will be sure that you understand before moving to next lesson or assignment. I would strongly recommend her to you if you are looking for a experient and professional ESL tutor.

What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
When meeting a student for the first time, I like to learn about the person and their language goals. Based on the student needs and amount of time that the student can commit to their language practice, we will set a timeline for the goals that we will achieve together.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I earned a Masters in Education with a focus on Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages.
How did you get started doing this type of work?
Being in a job that wasn't fulfilling with led me to tutoring and teaching ESL. And I love it!
