FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Actually, my pricing system is typically a little different than most other company's methods. It came from growing up in a large family in Michigan, where just about every aunt, uncle, granddad grandma and even my own father owned a successful small business, and something they all had in common that I still practice to this day, is that in order to stand out from the crowd, you must be willing to work just that much harder then the next guy, and do it for just that much less, without sacrificing the quality of the work. So that's why I came up with my price beat guarantee, which is that I'll beat any other price quote someone receives by 10%
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I typically do all the initial first meetings with a customer myself, so I can get a sense of what there really wanting done, and they get a chance to add or adjust any details of the job right from the start. After that, I ALWAYS give them my busniess card with that includes my own personal cell number where I can be reached anytime 24/7 because I also do emergency calls as well, such as storm damage from fallen trees or limbs or even boarding up broken windows from an unexpected hail storm. I try my hardest to let them know from the first time they meet me, that I'm always readily available, and not to hesitate to call me if they have a service emergency, even if they can't afford it, I'd still come out at a person's time of need and fix whatever issues their having, no questions asked, because there are just sometimes, that a person needs a helping hand, and that's what I strive to provide with my company Mountain Millworks.
- What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?
I'd say look at their level of work from any past jobs they may have done and have posted, because in this line of work, whether it's tree trimming, new fence installation or handyman services, it's not going to matter how good someone says they are, when there work never shows the level of quality they speak of. So my advice would be to base your judgement off of their work, rather than their word, because quality simply speaks for itself.
