FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
I understand that premium products demand premium installation and application. The money you have invested in your flooring or paint, for example, is worth protecting with quality workmanship. Cash discount (to pass on the savings I get from fees otherwise). I can bid your job hourly or by piece, and offer labor caps on hourly projects to protect your budget. I underpromise and overdeliver.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I will reply to questions or seek out work I am confident I can complete well. I will write a bid for the work we discuss that does not have any fine print and if you like it we will both sign it and then I get to work! Most of my new customers want a product they have already purchased themselves installed (and before the box store crew can fit them in). I am happy to help select, order and deliver products and do have pro memberships with a number of suppliers. I get lots of repeat business and am often booked solid but please feel free to solicit any help you may need!
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I’ve remodeled my own homes and worked on or in others for years.
