What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
We start with an assessment visit so that the client and I can meet and I can see the space. During this meeting we discuss the client's goals and needs for improvement. I then provide a written action plan and a proposal for hands-on on-site work.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have been an organizing junkie forever!! I think I learned as a teacher - then as an HR professional - that everything needs to be in its place or else the stress isn't worth the mess. I also use those teaching and HR skills to coach my clients to change routines in order to maintain their newfound organization.

Assessment visit and action plan = $50 ORGANIZING On-site services = $45/hour 8-hour package = $340 20-hour package = $820 Off-site services (shopping, dropping donations, etc) = $15/hour Garage or storage unit clean-out and haul = $50/hour STAGING/STYLING Approximately $250/room plus rentals.
How did you get started doing this type of work?
Family & friends have been asking for organizing and decorating advice forever! Over the years, they've referred me to friends and once I realized that I could do this - my passion - professionally, the business took off!
What types of customers have you worked with?
All types! Young moms, career women, empty-nesters, telecommuters, bachelors, those whose families or health are transitioning, newly retired folks, business owners, and more. No two clients are alike because how we live in our homes is immensely personal.
What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?
De-cluttering, Organizing and home design/styling are very personal work. May sure you connect with your pro and find them easy to work with!
What questions should customers think through before talking to professionals about their project?
I send all of my clients a questionnaire before we meet for the assessment visit. This gives them an opportunity to think through their concerns, habits, and goals for reorganizing and restyling their home.
