FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
For buyers: seller's pay your commission so there is no worries. I don't get paid unless you buy a home. For sellers: commissions are very important and they will be discussed in the consultation. If you haven't done much research, just google "real estate commissions" and you can read all about it. We don't discuss our commissions over the phone but they will be covered in our interview if you decide to meet with us and give us the opportunity to win your business.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
When I work with a new customer, I say the first home or two to view are free (if working with a buyer). I'll have a buyer consultation meeting at our office or a coffee shop so we can get to know each other and go over the home buying process. If you are a seller, we will come out and meet with you to discuss our marketing plan, how we sold 40 homes last year, and how we can help you get the most amount of money for your home in the least amount of time!
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Everyone completes the real estate classes. I was a real estate minor at Ohio State and double majored in finance. My goal is to complete the requirements to get a broker's license this year. I am in one of the top real estate coaching platforms in the country, and pay to do so. I have a coach who has been in real estate for 15 years and who sells over 300 homes a year. I hope I can get their some day too. If I don't know the answer, he will or someone else in the Tom Ferry real estate coaching platform will.
