- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I like to conduct a pre-session interview with the client to get a feel for what they are looking for, set expectations and agree on terms before the session begins.
- How did you get started doing this type of work?
I got started in this business on request from friends and family to take their photographs. My business grew from word of mouth and recommendations of happy customers.
- What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?
Look for someone that you mesh with. Since so much of photography is capturing personality, you want someone that you have good rapport with from the beginning. Also, make sure the details of what is included in the photographer's price is disclosed upfront, so there's no surprise on costs.
