Introduction: My style in makeup is to bring out the most beautiful features of my client. Makeup artistry is no only a job, it’s a passion. I have the opportunity to be a part of the most important day of a person’s life! It’s an honor and a privilege and something I don’t take lightly. Oh my goodness, Maria was so AWESOME in EVERY way!! She did makeup for my wedding & it was the best, most pleasant experience with her. She did my makeup, one of my bridesmaid's, my mom's & my sister's makeup & everyone's came out SO beautiful!! It was EXACTLY as we wanted it to be--natural-looking but still good enough to hold the ENTIRE day as well as to look good in pictures. She doesn't cake on makeup on you, she helps bring out & highlight your best features. I definitely trust her 100% & am 100% confident she gets it done the way you want. I would DEFINITELY HIGHLY recommend her for anyone who's looking for a MUA for any event!! She genuinely cares, takes pride in her work & I've found a friend in her. Words can't even describe how awesome & amazing she is!! You'll just have to take my word for it, hire her & see for yourself!!

I am very happy with having Maria do my makeup/hair for my event. Maria was very flexible when I asked her to move up our schedule several times as my event was getting finalized. She is very professional and knows exactly what she's doing. I did not have a trial with Maria but her talent and years of experience shine through and she is willing to make minor adjustments to my look until I am completely satisfied. I highly recommend Maria for any makeup/hair needs.

Maria accommodated my location, came to my hotel the morning of my commencement and not only did she do a tremendous job with my makeup but after she saw that I had no plans in what I would do with my hair - she straightened & curled it for me on the fly! She made me look like a complete doll. She educated me on the products she was using and how to use them in basic terms. She came fully prepared and the makeup stay on for the long-term, no need to re-apply, no smudge, no falling off lashes. She is my go-to San Francisco MUA whenever I'm in town - just when in doubt, pick Maria!

Maria did my makeup for my wedding day and I cannot rave enough about how pleased I am! We did two trails before my wedding to make sure I loved the look I wanted. I found this to be essential when finalizing my look when it came to eye shadow shades, the type of lashes I wanted, and my lip color. We compared photos from both trails to make those final decisions. She is incredibly flexible, personable, and professional. She was extremely accommodating to my needs; I can be picky about my makeup. I appreciated how attentive she was to my bridesmaids as well. She gave them all a survey to gauge their skin type, makeup needs, and looks that they wanted. Furthermore, I was please about how she took her time with my makeup. Throughout the trails and my wedding day, nothing was rushed. She made sure that everything was perfect and met my expectations. I asked Maria to stay throughout my wedding day to touch up my makeup and I am so happy she was able to! I looked flawless the whole night! I highly recommend her!

This goes out to Maria and Adrienne! THEY ARE SO AMAZING AT WHAT THEY DO!!! I found these lovely ladies via Thumbtack and from the beginning, both were so kind and responsive. Maria did my trial and she literally has transformed the way I do makeup. She showed me what tightlining is, which seriously has given me so much confidence. I never knew why top eyeliner was a struggle for me. No matter how thin the line was, it still took over my eyelid. I have explained this to makeup artists before, but they just continued on with the eyeliner, which made me self-conscious, like one single black line takes up my whole eyelid. Maria explained to me that the shape of my hooded eyelids would benefit from tightlining, which is putting eyeliner on the upper lash line, instead of on top of it. WOW! I feel like a new person. I do it myself now and I just can't believe I never knew about it before. During the trial, I absolutely adored Maria, but I kept falling for her as she was just so respectful. She told me what the next steps were and asked if I'd like to see myself. Other trials felt rushed and I never saw myself until the end. She was so respectful of how I wanted to look: natural and probably even a bit bare as a bride. But she made me look like a better version of my usual self! Leading up to the wedding, Maria checked in and had us send our looks and preferences. I loved this as I was paranoid about not staying on track that day. I loved that she wanted to be so prepared. The wedding was chaotic, we just had a lot of people and unexpected situations arise, like high winds. Maria was patient and never made me feel like, "Hello, we gotta get this show on the road." She made sure I ate and every time I was scatterbrained on the chair, she let me do my thing! I just felt so accepted by her! My friends and I all got so many compliments and it's really more a compliment to Maria and Adrienne and their amazing skills! Last thing I'll say is that Maria also made sure to get some great photos of us! They're the "model" ones in the chair. This was one of my favorite parts and we wouldn't have thought to do them at all! Maria and Adrienne were one of the best vendors I went with for our wedding; I was always so worry-free and I know you will be, too. If I ever get my makeup done, it's going to be by Maria, if she will have me again!

What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I like to create a clean and stress free environment. When beginning my services I always start with skincare as prep to ensure your makeup will last all day long. When applying makeup I ensure all my tools are completely clean and sanitized antibacterial spay and products that will ensure the safety of my clients. All services included lashes provided my myself.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I am worked in the makeup industry for 10 years. With companies such as MAC, Sephora, Make Up For Ever, Givenchy and Laura Mercier. I see to it that I received training every 6 months from Master Classes hosted my Pro Artists or Makeup Salon. In addition to my knowledge on makeup artistry, I see to it that I am aware to skincare products that will fit well for various skin type. Everyone has different features, skin and has different chemistry with different products. I invest hundreds of dollars on my makeup it which includes Giorgio Armani, NARS, Givenchy, ANASTASIA, SKII and other top performing brands. I currently host makeup seminars and classes for corporate companies such as Google various production companies.
