I knew my house would need some work when I purchased it in October 2013. Both bathrooms in the house were ugly, poorly configured, and in horrendous condition, so I wanted them to be completely remodeled and reconfigured. After talking to some friends, they told me Joel was the man to call. I have to admit, as a new homeowner, I'm sure I wasn't the best at communicating what I wanted. I wasn't even sure what I wanted, but I knew the bathrooms had to be different. Joel was patient with me and we worked together to draft plans for the new bathrooms; he also handled pulling the permits for me, and he and his crew got to work.
The scope of the project was huge. Both bathrooms were torn down to the studs and everything was replaced. I had one of the walls moved out on the downstairs bathroom (to make it larger) and added a window. The showers, toilets, sinks and plumbing in both bathrooms were replaced and relocated, and I asked him to install a washer and natural gas dryer in a new location. He also replaced my entry doors and over a dozen windows.
There were a few extensions on the completion date, but by the end I couldn't afford to wait any longer as tenants were beginning to move in. Knowing this, Joel worked during the weekend to finish things up for me by Sunday evening, even though he doesn't normally work on weekends. The finished product looked great and functioned well. Even when one small problem surfaced - one tile in the downstairs bathroom shifted and cracked - Joel fixed it within a week at no charge. He stands behind his work and understands the importance of maintaining a good reputation.
In December 2015, I hired Joel to replace a kitchen counter and add a dishwasher, and he completed his work by his promised deadline without any issues.

I had do 5 replacement windows. Work was done quickly and detail orientated. Windows used were very good quality. Very happy with the outcome.

The job was a small drywall repair in my kitchen. Joel was on time every time, attentive and thorough. He did everything that needed to be done without being asked. He and an employee covered up everything in the room for the sanding and left the place clean afterward. I would recommend Porcupine 5000 to anyone.

I needed a complete remodel in my bathroom and really had no idea what to expect. Joel came up with great ideas as to how the room could be rearranged, added a linen closet and even a laundry chute to the plan all while staying within my budget. The quality of his work is outstanding and I'm very pleased. I would highly recommend Porcupine 5000 to anyone.
