Green to Alpha K9

Introduction: Green to Alpha K9 takes young novice dogs/owners and applies the basic principles of conditioning to teach dog owners to become Alpha pack leaders! For an initial assesment I charge $70.00 for 1.5 hour. I will evaluate and make assessments and give classes on Principles of Conditioning. Any sessions after the intial is $60.00 per hour a session or we may develop a training plan. Typical dog training takes anywhere between 4 to 10 weeks depending on how well the dog and owner takes to the training. In order to build a solid foundation it is important to stay consistent and I would recommend 4 to 8 sessions for optimal success. Lessons include but not limited to: basic dog obedience, crate training, house breaking, on and off leash commands, lessons on how to correct unwanted behavior, how to become the pack leader, how to read your dogs behavior, knowing the dogs basic needs, learn principles of conditioning, habituation training, positive training, inducive training, and reward schedules. I've been training and shaping dogs behavior since 1996 as a Military Police K9 Handler/Trainer/Instructor. I love being around these animals and watching them do the task I teach them. I enjoy teaching owners how to train and become Alpha leaders to their dogs. The expressions on the owners face when they teach their dog a task is priceless!
