FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
I base my prices off of the amount, or depth, of research that would go into creating a highly competitive product. I believe that the most competitive grants utilize specific, non-biased, research in their literature. Doing this allows funding agencies (whether governmental or private) to illustrate your organization's mission, and how you hope to accomplish your goals.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
My typical process is to first begin with an open line of communication. There is so much more to soliciting funds than just "asking for money". Instead, a better way to approach the grant-writing process is to imagine it as a 'detective novel'; researching possible 'leads' and how these leads can help you to create a story which shows a connection between you (the organization) and them (the funding agency).
