FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Usually when it comes to the pricing, I charge: $16 a visit for one dog, then I add $5 per additional dog; $45 for one dog, and I add $10 per additional dog for an all day/overnight
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
First, they would message me on any one of my social medias, email, or my phone to see if I am available for when they need me. If I am available, they would call/text so we can set up a time for me to meet their dog(s) before the day, to see if we connect well. And if we do, my customer would give me all the information I need to walk, feed, and/or sit their dog(s) and house.
- How did you get started doing this type of work?
I have always loved dogs and being around them as always been my happy place. After I graduated high school in 2009, I wanted to make some more money than I was making at the job I had at the time. So, I would help some neighbors, and family/friends out, and walk their dogs for them. Once in awhile, a family friend would need me to dog sit their dogs, and I really enjoyed it. Then, in the Summer of 2016, I was trying to figure out what I wanted to do with the rest of my life, because what I studied in college didn't work out for me. So, since I was still helping some people, and walking their dogs when needed, I decided to make a business out of it and go back to school to learn how to make a business be successful and do something I have loved doing for years. And now, a year later, I have officially started it, and have gotten more clients since.
