FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
I generally charge 35¢ for a print scan, 60¢ if you want me to organize your print collection after scanning them. My hourly rate is $60/hour for photo organizing and training but I can work on an agreed package rate for specific work projects.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Everything starts with a conversation. There is no boilerplate for what I do, every client has different needs and it is very important that I listen to exactly what those needs are so I can formulate the best solutions for them going forward.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have been working as a photographer and in the photo field for over 25 years and specifically with digital images and scanning for almost 20 years. I owned and ran my own digital photo agency for 16 years and it was there that I learned about cataloging and organizing digital photos. That was the best training I could ever have hoped to get. I have been teaching photography for 8 years here in Los Angeles and continually learn from my students and other instructors.
