Introduction: My name is Katy. I am 26 years old and a self-proclaimed lifelong dog lover who typically becomes all of my friends' go-to for dog-sitting needs. I consider myself to be in great physical shape and can provide many hours of playtime for your animals and can take the scorching Texas heat with no complaints! Growing up, I always had a family pet, which of course transferred into my adult life where I, too, had to acquire my very own! I was a very proud dog-mom of a Golden Retriever/Labrador mix named Bones for a short period of time before he passed away. Now, I am a proud dog-mom to a 2 1/2 year old Golden Retriever mix named Watson who gets along with every dog and person he meets. Also, I am a proud gecko-mom to a Fancy Leopard Gecko named Katara. I know random combination, but they love each other! Animals have always held a special place in my heart. Each animal has its own personality unique to themselves, which is what makes hanging out with them so fun! Best of all, I am comfortable in working with dogs of all sizes and temperaments. Problem dogs typically need the most love and attention! I have volunteered at animal shelters. I have volunteered with dog walking companies and also have a personal experience in dog sitting for my close friends and family when needed. Medications: From years of experience with caring for my mother's special needs Aussie (hip dysplasia and blind), I am fully capable and comfortable tending to any specific needs and/or administering medication. I assure you will have nothing to worry about while away. I am reliable, dependable and coming from a scientific background my critical thinking, decision making skills and communication skills were put to the test. I have an iPhone and can be reached at any point during my stay and/or visit, and will send pictures and videos of your pup during to ensure you that Fido is having a blast!
