FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Since every persons needs are so different its really hard to have a 'standard' price. Obviously the more people the longer the time the more the cost. The most basic package is $200. It all depends if I am teaching a class or just bartending and in both options for how many people and time. I have done huge parties with all the works in which I teach class to everyone who has there own set-up station and every guests leaves with personalized bar tools. Sky is the limit as well as simplicity. So pricing is hard to determine without knowing which route your interested in going.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Email or phone to discuss needs and wants. Then typically I do a pre-event house visit to assess exactly what we need for the party, class or service option you are going for.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have a bachelors degree from the University of Arkansas in Hospitality Managment. I have managed and bartended for 10 years. I have an extensive beer knowledge and am studying for my cicerone (beer diploma) I currently am the head bartender at "Dallas Magazines' #1 rated craft bar in Dallas TX". Proof+Pantry I have been a professional studying bartender for as long as I was old enough to drink. I do a lot of consulting for many different bars which includes training there bar staff how to properly build cocktails as well as creating cocktail lists. I love teaching people the history of cocktails as we create and enjoy them so people can see the evolution of the craft cocktail. I come fully prepared with all the knowledge(packets, hand-outs, and your personalized at home cheat sheets)
