Kelly Cavender

Introduction: Helping ambitious millennials discover their purpose, find meaningful work and a fulfilling life while making money! I was born and raised in Dallas, Texas and currently live here after a stint in Virginia and then North Carolina. For the past few years, I have been working with a startup investment group focused on bringing a new form of capital to the higher education market. I previously worked in investment banking, doing financial advisory work for public entities, including non-profit institutions, colleges and universities, and state agencies. I've led meetings with all sorts of professional and non-professional teams, from university presidents, CFOs, and Athletic Directors to middle school students. I started coaching as a natural extension of my passion for understanding, inspiring, and encouraging people. I have an innate ability to connect with people, and I want to put this skill to its best use. I love connecting and communicating with people from all walks of life and of all ages. It is my priority to help people live joyfully, find meaningful work, and have a meaningful life. I am a Gallup-certified Strengths coach. I am a graduate of the University of Virginia, where I earned degrees in both Economics and Spanish and minored in Religious Studies. I have volunteered with my church youth group (wherever that has been) for the past 10 years.
