- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
During your initial visit, we will complete a targeted questionnaire and a physical assessment. During this initial evaluation, we will discuss many health related topics to determine the best course of action for you. As part of this, we will assess your current eating habits and lifestyle. Ultimately we will work together to develop a plan to advance your health and healing.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have an MS in Human Nutrition from University of Bridgeport which includes functional nutrition in the curriculum. I have studied at the Duke University's Center for Integrative Medicine, 2014. I also have an MS in Management and a BS in Biology. I've lead a life of science having worked in the Pharmaceutical industry for many years in the area of Quality and Compliance. This high value for science and quality permeates my approach to nutrition which is essentially biochemistry underneath it all!
- How did you get started doing this type of work?
My journey began when I realized that working in a Pharmaceutical Chemistry laboratory was not right for me. I knew I'd always wanted to work directly with people to help them and it some time to get here but I am happy to have arrived!
