- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
I charge a flat $200 fee for the first in-home consultation. Each project varies in scale and structure, but I typically charge hourly for my services.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
We would schedule a quick phone call to discuss the project, then plan a consultation and walk-through to discuss in detail. Once we are ready to get started, I have my clients sign a contract and provide a deposit. I would likely provide a digital design board and/or in person design presentation, then a proposal with each items details and pricing. Upon approval and payment of the invoice, I would purchase the furnishings and coordinate any sub-contractors work. I would stay involved in the process from design to installation, to provide an exciting reveal to my client!
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I began my career working as a Design Associate for a firm specializing in hotel and restaurant design. There I gained the valuable first hand experience and knowledge of the design industry. Now owning my own company and working in residential design, I have the background to support a variety of projects, and work experience to handle any job.
