Introduction: WHO WE ARE Élan Advising is an education and career consulting company that specializes in serving young people: high school students, college students, recent graduates and young professionals. We use LIFE as a convenient tool to teach empowerment, resourcefulness and emotional intelligence/resilience. We were the first company on the market to put two and two together: our programs are a unique blend of Life Coaching, executive skills training and career consulting that you won't find anywhere else. They're holistic and practical, which makes sense to us. WHAT WE DO We work with our clients via phone or webcam on a weekly or biweekly basis for 1 hour at a time. In Coaching sessions, we use Life Coaching techniques to address the stumbling blocks preventing you from achieving what you want. Stress? Low grades? Relationships? We cover what affects all of your life, not just part of it. In Consulting sessions, we teach concrete skills that are most useful to your stage in life, whether they be creating achievable goals or applying to college or for jobs. WHY IT WORKS We've found that major life transitions present the best opportunities to reevaluate what works and what doesn't. And that adulting is SO much easier when you have some outside perspective and extra help.
