FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
I typically charge $120-160 per 1-hour session. All work done in between sessions is included in that price. That being said, I do operate on a sliding scale on a case by case basis. I do not believe that anyone should miss out on a life and career coach's services simply due to lack of funds.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I always take the first coaching session to get to know the client--their values, needs, passions and strengths. From that point forward, we design together what the objectives of coaching should be. I combine life coaching with practical instruction in college, graduate and job applications: resume writing, cover letter writing, LinkedIn makeover, interview prep, etc. In between sessions, I encourage clients to email or text with any questions or concerns. I'm not a coach that only communicates with you during a formal call! I also do not charge for work in between sessions. Let's say we agree that the client will finish a resume draft outside of the coaching hour. I will then make revisions to that resume at no additional charge.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I am a certified life coach / academic life coach. I obtained my certification through a top notch company based in Oregon called Academic Life Coaching. They are in turn certified by the International Coach Federation. I believe that my trainer, John Andrew Williams, is the best in the business because he emphasizes skill, not sales.
