FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
I offer a 10% military and first responder discount.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I like to get to know my customers. If I know why they are wanting a project done, I can often do a better job in an overarching sense because I know then know how to best meet their goals, whether its timing for a party or event, meeting a certain budget, prepping their house to sell, etc. So I like to meet if possible and then offer my knowledge and experience where needed or asked for, but generally if there is not an egregious error on the table, I do what I can to follow the instructions of the new customer so they get what they are looking for.
- What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?
Determine what your priorities are. You will always be able to find someone cheaper or better than whoever you are looking at. The majority of pros fall somewhere on the curve of where quality and cost intersect, so you would serve yourself best by deciding where you want to land. Also, when you find a trustworthy pro, trust them.
