FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
With respect to a re-roofing that involves shingle replacement only (i.e. no re-decking) we can get a general idea based on size, but it's extremely difficult to price a job without seeing it because of all the other components involved.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
We usually start by coming out to look at the job. Even when we already have exact measurements it difficult to complete a detailed quote without seeing the roof. With roof damage there is often additional damage to vents, gutters, siding, etc. If it's an insurance claim, we will need detailed pictures of all the damage to make sure the customer is able to get everything fixed under their claim. Once we have completed our inspection, we will present the customer with a free, no obligation quote. If the customer decides to hire us we will work directly with the insurance company (if it's an insurance claim) throughout the entire process to make it as hassle free as possible.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Our sales reps and roofing crews have extensive experience in all types of residential and commercial roof systems. We are very fortunate to have retained the same sales staff and roofing crews over a number of years. We are members of several industry organizations and publications and our contractors undergo periodic refresher training with regard to industry changes and best practices.
