Introduction: I am a divorce mediator, family mediator, Child & Family Investigator and a therapist. My passion is helping couples make their own decisions about their divorce or post-divorce issues in a friendly, fair and cost-effective manner. My specialty is developing detailed parenting plans. Another value I offer my clients is flexible meeting times: I can meet with you after work Monday-Friday and by appointment Saturday and Sunday. I also serve clients from Longmont down to Castle Rock. I enjoy assisting couples (those divorcing as well as couples who want to improve their relationships before, after or instead of divorce) in a non-adversarial environment. In mediation, I draw on my skills as a therapist to help people get past a win/lose view to achieve agreement on the way they want their life after divorce to be. Mediation is voluntary, confidential, and allows for people to come to creative solutions that are more likely to last in the long-term than does litigation. My satisfaction comes every time I hear,"I didn't think mediation would work, but it did!" A smile, a handshake, a sigh of relief - these are the gifts I receive from my clients.
