FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
We can operate on an up-front fee based planning model where we charge you a one time fee to put together a financial plan. Sometimes people come to us with a project that we can quickly solve like an investment roll-over or insurance need that we can waive the fee and jump right in. We strongly suggest the former because we can really make sure that all the pieces fit together.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Generally we begin with a complementary initial consultation where we learn more about your unique situation and identify areas that we may be able to help. After that, we spend a lot of time gathering data and diving deeper into the details of your financial and personal landscape. We then address your plan from a team based approach and create custom recommendations. Lastly, we work with you to implement the recommendations we make. If there is an area we are unfamiliar with, we have the ability to bring in other professionals in the community such as an Estate Planning Attorney or CPA to further address your needs.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Our firm employs some of the most highly credentialized professionals in the industry. Among our many designations are MBA, CFP, ChFC, CLU, AIF, CLTC, RICP and AWMA. To unpack the above "alphabet soup" we have 2 Masters of Business Administration, 2 Certified Financial Planners, 1 Chartered Financial Consultant, 2 Chartered Life Underwriters, 2 Accredited Investment Fiducary, 1 Certified Long Term Care, 1 Retirement Income Certified Professional, and 1 Accredited Wealth Management Advisor certification(s).
