I strongly recommend Ali Wilhelm for anyone considering a party planner. I recently hired AWEvents to help plan, organize and execute a Surprise 40th Birthday Party celebration for my wife. While I knew from the beginning I would need help (party planning is not part of my normal job description), I did not know how badly I needed someone until I saw firsthand the details necessary to pull off a large party, let alone a SURPRISE party. I had a general outline of what I wanted (surprise party: check; sophisticated but feminine: check; memorable enough to make her cry: double check); but beyond that I had no idea where to begin. Ali helped me pull off the perfect party that not only checked all the boxes, she made sure I felt like I was in control of the entire process. From the beginning, Ali’s vision, design, organization and communication were top notch. She really spent the time researching my wife (from interviewing friends to Facebook stalking) in order to make sure the overall vision of the party matched my wife’s personality. Custom cake in the shape of her favorite purse, who would have thought?! I may have spent a little more than I had hoped, but Ali saved me even more in wasted time and energy. And in the end, I got exactly what I wanted: tears of joy!

Ali was a life saver when it came to helping us make decisions for our wedding and was seriously a rockstar on the day of our wedding. She handled EVERYTHING for us on the day of! Many of my family and friends commented on what a "calm bride" I was, and I 100% owe it all to Ali.
She was super responsive and helpful during the planning and time leading up to the wedding. She talked me down from moments of stress weeks before. There were several moments throughout the planning process and on the day of that I thought to myself "I could have NEVER done this without Ali."
I could go on and on about how amazing she is. We highly recommend her!!

It is nearly impossible to express just how wonderful it was to work with Ali while planning my daughter's wedding. Every step of the way she was knowledgeable, responsive, professional, patient, personable, and kind. She gave very helpful advice and information in areas that I would have never thought about. Ali went above and beyond. It was because of Ali's efforts that the ceremony went smoothly and the reception was beautiful. The timing for everything flowed perfectly. Everyone in my family adores her. She will always be remembered as an integral part of an important event in our lives.
