Introduction: I am a former local government reporter at the Greeley Tribune with a bachelors degree in journalism from the University of Colorado at Boulder. In my time as a journalist I published close to 1,000 stories with perfect grammar and AP style. I have also won a dozen statewide awards for writing and editing from the Colorado Press Association and the Colorado Associated Press Editors and Reporters.
I now work as a marketing and communications specialist. I write and manage social media and web content and advise a public high school on its communications plan.
I am also fluent in Spanish and have a Teaching English as a Foreign language certificate from my time teaching English in Cartagena, Colombia.
I am looking for any writing and editing work. I have written about it all, from oil and gas development to city council to business writing, and am open to any subject!
I love hitting the perfect chord and rhythm in a well-written piece of content, no matter the subject. I take joy in seeing that others can easily consume what I am communicating.
