FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
I like to start the prices low to gain the client's trust, to show them that I can go above and beyond their project's request. Once we have a solid foundation of a working relationship, we can discuss payments on a more project based level rather than hourly. Let's keep on creating beautiful stories together!
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I like to have a short conversation with them or swap inspiration before we meet for the shoot. It's always best to make sure we are on the same page going into it. I want to know what styles speak to you and which you tend to steer away from. In addition, I like to show them how the pictures are turning out throughout the shoot so we can make adjustments during as well. It's all about making sure that the customers vision is realized.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I filmed and produced my own documentary film in college, and had it premiere at the 41 North Film Festival in Houghton, MI next to films like Meru and Meet the Patels. I've been a part time wedding photography and videography for about 4 years now, but creativity and my visual skills are 24 years strong.
