FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Every aspect of my services are negotiable. Let's sit down together to find out what your vision and budget is and I will show you what I can do.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
My aim is to please the client! A free consultation, preferably in person (but can be done over the phone if need be) is first done to gain an expression or vision of what the client is looking for. At that point we can fine tune the menu, decor, details, and costs. Once we've come up with your "masterplan" we will then complete and sign your service agreement (contract), and arrange the payment of a deposit.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I don't have any formal culinary training, simply a lifelong passion for cooking, decor, and attention to detail, as well as almost two decades of experience as a business owner owning and operating a mortgage company, a promotions company, and a merchant services company. These businesses have all required exemplary and fair business practices. I look at catering as more of an apprenticeship, the art of learning tricks of the trade and passing down irresistible flavors and deep guarded recipes. Open communication with my clients is the foundation of a successful event and my priority is my client's comfort at every phase of the planning process. Throw in a jazzy and luxurious twist and you have amazing creations & events fit for ROYALTY!
