FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
My pricing structure depends on the nature of the project and the final deliverables. The more finished images the client requires the greater the ultimate price. Additionally if studio time or assistants are required the price will likely be higher. A non-refundable $75 booking fee may be required depending on the need for me to reserve studio space, assistance or turn down other projects. The above being said my pricing structures are flexible if the clients needs are likewise flexible.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
My typical process when working with customers is to communicate as far in advance as possible about the client's expectations and hopes for the session. Usually this involves the client and I exchanging inspiration photos or at least examples of what they are NOT looking for. Throughout the process clear and timely communication is of the utmost importance for me and it is my hope that that is the case for the client as well.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I do not have formal education in photography. However, I have been involved with the arts for over 20 years which has included quite a bit of photography experimentation. More recently I have been a member of the Studio of Photographic Arts (SOPHA) community in Manchester where I have received hours of formal and informal tutoring from established professionals.
