FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
I am happy to offer discounts to groups so if you have a friend who is also looking to have boudoir photography done I'd be happy to extend a discount if we are able to shoot at the same time. Most boudoir customers, understandably, want their images to be kept private. However, some clients don't mind their images being used for the photographer's profile - like all of the women featured in this profile and on my social media accounts. If you are willing to be featured I am happy to provide a discount. My Thumbtack pricing is based on the information that you provide via Thumbtack so please be as detailed as you can with your request.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I always ask my clients if they have any inspiration photos that are in the style that they are looking for. This allows us to collaborate from a shared frame of reference. I have learned over the years that there is no such thing as too much planning for creative projects which is why I always summarize a project in writing for the client in advance so that when the big day comes we have a shared understanding of the plan. Although improvisation is certainly welcome.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have participated in several group shoots through the Studio of Photographic Arts (SOPHA) in Manchester, New Hampshire. These ranged from groups of about 10 photographers and 2 models up to groups of 12 models and over 50 photographers.
